What BGGuessr stores

BGGuessr has no accounts and no server-side database. Your game progress, daily results and statistics are saved only in your browser (localStorage) so you can pick up where you left off. Nothing you type is sent to us. You can wipe this data at any time by clearing site data for bgguessr.xyz in your browser.

Advertising and cookies

The site is funded by ads served by Ezoic and Google AdSense. These partners and their vendors may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure ad performance and, where you consent, to personalise ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent before any such cookie is set; elsewhere you can opt out through your browser or Google's ad settings.

Third-party content

Game data and cover images come from BoardGameGeek and load from its servers, which receive your IP address as with any image on the web. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Share buttons only open the chosen network in a new tab when you click them; no tracking code from those networks runs on this page.
